How to Adjust Active Insulin on The MiniMed™ 670G System

The MiniMed™ 670G system allows you to change the active insulin time when in Manual Mode or SmartGuard™ Auto Mode. The active insulin time is the amount of time any remaining insulin from a previous insulin dose, or bolus, is still active in your body. Watch this how-to video for instructions on adjusting the active insulin on your insulin pump and consult with your healthcare professional team on your individual settings.

The MiniMed™ 670G system with SmartGuard™ technology is the worlds first integrated insulin pump system that mimics some of the functions of a healthy pancreas. This breakthrough technology automatically adjusts (some user interaction required) to help keep glucose levels in range so you can spend more time enjoying life and less time managing diabetes.
The MiniMed™ 670G system is for type 1 ages 14 and over. May not be safe for younger than 7 or using less than 8 units of insulin/day. It is not recommended to calibrate your CGM device when sensor or blood glucose values are changing rapidly e.g. following a meal of physical exercise. See http://bit.ly/670gRisks
