The watch doesn't have to be that accurate for it to be a lifesaver! If it can set off an alert alarm on the phone when there is a downward trend followed by a measurement of 60. I'd rather be awakened by a false alarm, than no alarm. My partner is a type one, a bad dream can send her plummeting. Many 5am emergency situations could be avoided. I could only dream of such a device that was affordable.

With blucon nightrider i am able to see my sugar readings directly on apple smartwatch without need of phone. because of cellular connection i can share data directly from watch
Hi Tom, in what country do u live??? The reason I ask is that u use your Apple Watch to see your glucose readings. I just bought a Apple Watch 7 & had to return it today January 25 2022 cuz it’s not supported in Canada where I live I contacted Abbott freestyle Libre to see if the made a app & they don’t & wont be making one for a year or more. To bad cuz I was looking forward to using the watch to check my glucose readings

If apple comes up with a separate device like the watch specifically for diabetes people will by it. Apple watch and a glucose watch, one for each wrist. It’s not on iwatch 7.
