    You should try natrisweet which is a light amber liquid from stevia plant.

    Stevia has a metal, or chemical after taste. It's like aspartame, which was banned in Europe.
    Let's talk about Sucralose. Sucralose is allowed to be cut with Maltodextrin and if the carbohydrate is not greater than 4 grams. The FDA allows the sucralose manufacture to put 0 Carbohydrate and 0 sugar.

    Some of the sweeteners you tested are metabolized by the liver and if you have nafld this is not good. Table sugar is 1/2 glucose and 1/2 fructose, and that is why it tastes less sweet than many artificial sweeteners

    Also sweetners 100 hundreds times sweener than sugar you consume less of it that's how you stay low insulin and lower calories be carful you don't need alot of them stevia pure extract alone is 1/16 of tsp equal 1 tsp of sugar

    Maltodextrin is fine with these sweetners if use no more than two packets because there is a thing called glycemic load 1 tsp of honey has higher spike than packets because glycemic load all you need to do is add fiber 5 grams or more with 10 grams of protein with packets it won't spike as much same goes with regular sugar. When you mix foods together digestion is slower tho some people may be sensitive to curtin ones but in general they're meant to be used in combination of food and no liquid alone witch will spike much higher

    I know it is a little late for this comment but I just saw this comparison. As to the Stevia aftertaste, if you want to get around it use Stevia oil. I switched to it after trying several powdered Stevia brands and did not like the aftertaste s well. On the advice of another Diabetes channel, I tried the oil and never went back. It is not as convenient as the packets but I only use it at home. Just a few drops are all that is needed in a drink and you are good.

    I am not surprised that Stevia was the best one. It 100% natural from nature. I also learned that Trivia also falls into that category. I will be checking out these natural sugars.

    Oh my. The horrid aftertaste of Stevia 🥴. There's a concentrated liquid form of Splenda that does not contain malto dextrin. Haven't tested my blood augars with that though

    Diet soda 40 years ago must've been trash cuz diet soda now is still terrible although better than the early 2000s from what I remember. Zero sugar in my opinion tastes way way better.

    Thanks for the important lesson! I use stevia in my lemon water, which turns out tasting the best lemonade on the planet!! My body loves the lemon juice!! (I get the stevia at WallyMart in the sugar aisle, in the small green and white squeeze bottle, and keep it in my purse.)

    Now I know why I've only been able to eat erythritol of the alcohols and not the others… Inulin causes so much pain in my gut…. Amazing video!

    All of the Stevia sweetener packets that I've found have Erythritol as the main ingredient and then stevia as the second ingredient.

    Hi, good Doc. Where I live, almost all stevia sweeteners are a combination of stevia leaf extract and erythritol! Would that be a good option for a diabetic diet?
