You might not know this, but T1Ds don’t have a needle in their skin 24/7! #diabeducated #diabeteseducation #10DaysForT1D #ndam #diabetesawareness #insulin Video Rating: / 5
I have the same type of pump but it constantly leaks and i end up having to just use needles. Ive tried overpatches and they dont work. Any tips on making it not leak?
One of my friends is extremely insulin dependant and had been in and out of the hospital many times because she forgets to check her sugar levels, she recently got one of these and has the needle in constantly, I bet it's really uncomfortable for her at times, but I'm very thankful for that pump she has because it's keeping her alive and out of the hospital!
T1D for over 10 years here! I actually do have a needle in my skin all the time!! (that’s if i have my CGM on) It’s called my CGM (constant glucose monitor) and it reads my blood sugar and sends it to my pump, my Tandem insulin pump! then my pump adjusts my basal and correction factors based on what my blood sugar is reading at ! so i guess it depends on what diabetic you ask if they have a needle in their skin all the time, because yes, i do!!
Have you tried the Omnipod? It is a tubeless insulin pump. Might be worth a call to your Endocrinologist ❤️ Best of luck from 1 T1D to another ♥️
Me to❤🥹 but a different kind every week I have to change it! And put insulin every three days

I always wonder what people like you will do when modern society falls apart because you’re so dependent on medication to exist.
