Apple and Alphabet are moving into the health care. Both companies have been rumored to be working on non-invasive ways to check blood glucose levels but never bought anything to market. Now, both tech giants are collaborating with medical device company Dexcom, a maker of continuous glucose monitors for people with diabetes. CNBC got an inside look at the innovation behind Dexcom’s latest CGM and its manufacturing process to better understand why two of the world’s biggest tech companies are partnering with it.

I am type 2 and recently got a Dexcom on Medicare. It integrates well with apple iPhone and I watch when connected to the iPhone. It generates a sugar reading every 5 minutes. This really helps you see what impact what you eat and how medications impact blood sugar. I know this is an old video but I am impressed with the system. Getting the cost down would be a great thing to do as it is very costly.
I hope Big Tech stays far away from Diabetes care. It's like trusting rats with cheese. Look at Big Pharma they are currently leeching off the misery of others and will continue to do so until the whole population will be at their mercy. Just look at their track record.

When apple makes an insulin pump themselves, it will mean that the pump itself will cost 4000 dollars, then they will modify the battery you can only but on their website and the avg cost will be 50 dollars per batter for a month. And the sets you need to use for it will most likely cost 20 bucks for an infusion at least. Great
